About NTC

While Christianity is growing throughout Africa, there are few colleges that offer the needed training to Christian leaders who want to spread God’s message. Nassa Theological College was founded on Biblical principles in January 1989 to help fill the void in theological training in Tanzania.

The College is committed to train servant leaders zealously to the supremacy of Christ and His Word in all things and for all peoples.

NTC Educational Philosophy

NTC strives to provide an integrated approach to theological education, leadership development and practical ministry skills.  The NTC curriculum is designed to promote ‘servant leadership’ by developing the students’ spiritual characteristics, increasing their knowledge of God’s Word and by offering practical in-service training in the local Church to enhance their ministry skills.

The Apostle Paul emphasized mature Christian character as a priority of leadership qualifications (I Tim. 3).  NTC also seeks to make this a central aspect of its educational philosophy.  Christian qualities such as servant – hood, faithfulness, godliness, self-control, and love are not so much learned in the classroom as in the daily interactions with those with whom we live.

NTC, although an institution, is also a community of believers, united by love and service for Christ, each other, and the world.  Every institution is required to have rules and regulations.  At NTC our goal is the ongoing development of the individual and community in Christian maturity that will glorify God.  Our guidelines for Christian conduct have this goal always in view.
